String Class/Performance Class Saturday October 15th
Strings @ 9:30 am, Pianists arrive @ 11. The students perform for each other from 11 to noon. Mrs. Taylor’s living room. Attendance recommended.
These informal performances help prepare the student for the Spring Concert in May.
MTNA Music Achievement Award Program Begins
This month students are filling out personalized sheets with their selected goals for the year. A record is kept on file, and progress towards goals is monitored throughout the school year to ensure that each student is on track. Certificates are awarded at the Spring Concert for those meeting 80% of their goals.
CMTA Student Recital November 13th, Charlottesville
Violin and piano students are invited to participate in a multi-studio concert coming up in November. Musical offerings must be from the Baroque Era. There is no charge for participation in or attendance at this event. Talk to Mrs. Taylor for more information.
