June 2008 Newsletter
Congratulations to all who participated in the Spring Concert. (This goes to press before the concert.) It is so exciting to have a string group with cellos, and students, piano as well as violin, playing at such a high level of excellence. Especially notable are the many awards garnered by all the “veterans”. You “newcomers” will be earning your own pins and certificates next year, no doubt. I love to celebrate your many successes with you at this annual event.
Help! Mrs. Taylor is in need of your help, finding some new students for the summer and beyond. We will all be missing Wilson and Natalie Plonk as they spend a year in New Zealand. Others who planned to start aren’t able to do so after all. An ad in the paper went up from $33/mo to $158! ( That is not an option.) Personal referrals are always the best way to find new students. Maybe there is someone you know who has played with the ideas of lessons for themselves or a child. Summer is a great time to try something new. If you send me a new student, it’s a credit for you of one lesson free on your next month’s tuition!! (A wedding booking is also worth a free lesson.) Thank you for thinking of me.
Summer Schedule
My vacation week is June 14 through the 22nd. Be sure to let me know when you will not be coming for lessons so we can be sure to get in your desired numbers. See below for the lesson time we have arranged for you.
